7:55PM-MLB: HR hit or No HR hit

In the second prop of the game between the Padres and Phillies, streakers will have to decide if there will a home run hit in the 3rd through 5th inning of the game. Both Cole Hamels and Wade LeBlanc should still be pitching through these innings and by the time these innings start the top or middle of the order should be up to bat.

  • LeBlanc has allowed 5 HR in 9 starts this season, all 5 in his last 3 starts
  • Hamels has allowed 11 HR in 11 starts this season, 2 HR in his last 3 starts
  • Through innings 3-5 this season, LeBlanc has allowed 3 HR
  • Through innings 3-5 this season, Hamels has allowed 5 HR, 4 in 1 game against the Nationals
  • The most runs will be scored through the first 4 1/2 innings odds are -120

Schneps picks Yes- HR hit 3rd through 5th inning to win ****(4 out of 5)

There is not much analysis about this pick. Basically the Phillies ballpark is a very hitter friendly ballpark so there is a good chance of a homer within these innings. Even though the Padres only have 1 really good home run hitter, the Phillies entire lineup are threats to go long. So I am taking my chances with the Phillies to hit at least 1 home run through the 3rd and 5th innings.

Stig picks No Home Run will be hit * * * (3 out of 5)

I look at these matchups and I just see it being difficult that one can say that a HR will be hit without seeing how the game is being played.  The Phillies do scare me, but they have not been the same Phillies the last few weeks.  With that, I am taking the side that there will be no home run hit.
